Tomorrow is election day!
VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
“We know they’re cheating, so why should I bother to vote?”
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that question, I would be a very wealthy woman, but obviously nobody is giving me nickels, so let’s address the issue.
The quickest way to lose the battle for election integrity is to throw in the towel altogether and just not vote. I’m not going to lie. It crosses my mind every now and then, but before I get the chance to pull the trigger on that battle fatigued stupidity, my inner warrior voice reminds me that quitting is simply not an option. Case closed. Don’t be a whiner. We’re all tired and frustrated. The revolutionary war lasted 8 years and the Americans lost more battles than they won, so put your big girl panties on and just go vote! Enough said.
So now the question is, what’s on the ballot and who should I vote for?
This time around there are A LOT of local races on the ballot statewide and since the fix is local, this election is perhaps more important than the presidential elections are because the candidates on this particular ballot will make decisions that affect your daily life. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not minimizing the importance of presidential elections, but I’ve also learned in the last 3 years that there is an election every 6 months, and we need to be participating in all of them. I’ll be the first to admit that I KNOW I didn’t vote in the November 2019 election. Therefore, I abdicated my civic duty, as did millions of other Americans, which is why the country is falling apart. Time to get engaged and STAY engaged.
Duty is ours. Results are God’s. - John Quincy Adams
The statewide races are Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Commonwealth Court, and Superior Court. These are my picks:
Supreme Court: Carolyn Carluccio
Commonwealth Court: Megan Martin
Superior Court (we pick 2): Maria Battista and Harry Smail Jr.
I don’t love everything about all of these candidates. In fact I didn’t vote for any of them in the primaries, but most candidates running on the Dem ticket are straight up communists and we need to HOLD THE LINE!
Another important issue:
There are retention questions on judge seats. Most of them are not statewide, so you will need to ask trusted local sources on how to vote, but here is just some food for thought:
Overall we need to clean house, so with that being the mindset, a “no” vote on a judge retention is better than a “yes” vote, in my opinion. So when in doubt, vote “no”.
Then the question becomes, so what if a good, constitutional judge candidate loses the retention seat because we voted “no” when we could have easily voted “yes”?
Answer: Losing the retention seat doesn’t mean the judge candidate can’t run again for that same seat. It just forces them to campaign again and actually earn the people’s vote rather than just slide right back into the position with no effort.
We have 2 judge retention questions that are statewide. One is for Judge Jack Panella and the other is for Judge Victor Stabile. This is what I am hearing on the ground from good, conservative patriots.
Jack Panella - Vote NO
Victor Stabile - Vote YES
There are a lot of other local races on the ballot, like schoolboards, county commissioners, city councils, township supervisors, sheriffs, etc. If you have no idea who to vote for, ask a like minded neighbor. If you don’t have a like minded neighbor, then you need to fix that before the next election. Go out in your community and start getting to know people.
Education is key, and the fix is local.
