Election Integrity Ignored: Mail Ballots Sink GOP in Special Election Shocker
Topic: Audit The Vote
The reality of where we are…
Last Tuesday’s outcome for the special election in Lancaster with the Trump + 15 dark red district was a shocker to everyone outside of the election integrity community.
The mail ballot chasing experts and establishment keep telling us that we just aren't voting by mail hard enough and we’re not chasing enough ballots. We need to bank the votes more, or we will keep losing. What they’re doing, whether they realize it or not, is they’re trying to use the California model where ballot harvesting is legal and adapt it to Pennsylvania.
First of all, how well is that working in California? Let’s take a look.
The Dems have a supermajority in BOTH houses of the state legislature in addition to a Democrat governor, attorney general, and secretary of state. There’s actually a term for that. They call it a Democratic trifecta and a Democratic triplex.
What’s that exactly, you ask?
It’s a full-on blue blowout resulting in a one-party circus where they shove through whatever they feel like, chucking taxpayer cash around like it’s Monopoly money, and brushing off anyone who dares to disagree. And now, cue the mass exodus—people and businesses have fled the state faster than you can say "moving van," fed up with the chaos. Oh, and those wildfires that just torched everything? They’re acting like it’s no big deal, shrugging off the destruction while the ashes are still smoking. It’s a power grab with a side of “who cares,” and the state’s paying the price—literally and figuratively… may as well move to China if that’s the route we’re headed.
Back on topic…
What these so called influencers and establishment experts fail to grasp is that voting by mail is the least secure way to vote and with it comes a whole host of issues that are taking Republicans down a losing path, and the analysis that Audit The Vote PA has been doing since 2020 proves it.
Organizations like the PA Chase are touting that one of the reasons Trump won the 2024 election is because they knocked on 500,000+ doors and got Trump 34% of the mail-in vote. The problem with that statistic is that they’re only looking at the 2024 race through one lens of data. They’re not taking a deep dive into where the votes are actually coming from and how they’re getting to the score board, so to speak. More on that in just a minute.
Based on the data analysis that you will see below, we conclude that the very winnable district 36 special election was lost because of the low-propensity Republican banked mail-in votes… and the data proves it.
Exhibit A
Here’s a breakdown of what the graph shows:
Sent Mail Ballots (light blue line):
Malone (D): 8,536 mail ballots were sent to Democratic voters.
Parsons (R): 5,451 mail ballots were sent to Republican voters.
Third Party: 1,765 mail ballots were sent to third-party voters.
Returned Mail Ballots (middle blue line):
Malone (D): Out of the 8,536 sent, 7,222 ballots were returned.
Parsons (R): Out of the 5,451 sent, 4,423 ballots were returned.
Third Party: Out of the 1,765 sent, 1,326 ballots were returned.
Results (Votes for Each Candidate in darkest blue line):
Malone (D): Of the 7,222 returned Democratic ballots, 8,689 votes from mail ballots were recorded for Malone.
Parsons (R): Of the 4,423 returned Republican ballots, only 3,547 votes from mail ballots were recorded for Parsons. This indicates a significant drop-off, with nearly 876 fewer votes than returned ballots, suggesting that some Republican voters who returned their ballots either did not vote for Parsons or their votes were not counted as expected.
Third Party: Of the 1,326 returned third-party ballots, 173 votes from mail ballots were recorded for third-party candidates, a sharp decline, indicating that many third-party voters who returned ballots did not vote for a third-party candidate or their votes were not counted.
Filling in the gaps and drawing a conclusion for this race…
There were over 800 low-propensity Republicans who show as returning a mail ballot, and oddly enough 876 of those returned mail ballot votes didn’t go to the Republican candidate.
What does that tell us?
This actually happens overwhelmingly with mail-in voters when compared with election day voters. This same thing happened to Doug Mastriano in the 2022 Gubernatorial race and to President Trump in 2020, which helped contribute to the 2020 steal. Both of those races had less votes recorded for the R candidate when compared to how many R voters actually returned a mail ballot.
But why?
The election integrity community has continuously sounded the alarm on mail balloting. We know it's less secure and there are chain of custody issues. These issues are why other countries were smart enough to ban vote by mail entirely.
But let's assume there was no fraud since we don't have the necessary access to identify the fraud definitively. Let's just think logically about the "bank the vote low propensity" phenomenon.
When you request a mail ballot in Pennsylvania, your name goes onto a list. That list tells the Dark Money USAID-funded Democrat NGO's that they can hyper-target you with their election propaganda. Normally, these NGOs have to guess which voters may turn out for an election, and spread their funding across all potential voters. This means less money spent per person, and the low-propensity voter who is likely to stay home - will not be swayed to vote in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately for us, there are influencers and establishment figures who have, in some cases disingenuously, ignored these and other warning signs with mail ballots. They have forced the low-propensity Republican to sign up to automatically receive a mail ballot for every election, hoping that they will actually vote Republican.
These low-propensity voters are low-propensity because they are not following politics as closely as everyone else. They have the least loyalty to any ideology or party, because if they were following politics more closely or believed in an ideology - they would not be low propensity Republicans who don't show up for most elections.
The USAID driven unlimited tax-payer derived funding will overwhelm any honest fundraising effort, given the vast extent of the available federal funds to be redistributed back to the targeted race.
Once the "Social Media Influencer" signs that low-propensity Republican up for recurring mail-ballots, that voter will get overwhelmed with political propaganda and lies trying to sway them to vote against their party.
We've heard the stories firsthand that this is happening. People were swayed in 2022 to vote against Dr Oz because they were told by Fetterman-connected campaigns that Dr Oz hated puppies (among other lies). They were fed so much propaganda that they could not stomach voting for the Republican. If you remember correctly, Fetterman had to issue a public apology about these lies. Unfortunately, the people being targeted are low-information and typically low-propensity voters and so the damage for them was already done.
So if embracing mail ballots isn’t the answer, then what is? What can we do?
I’d like to say I have it all figured out, and I can give you an exact formula for how we’re going to fix this problem, but if I did that I’d be as disingenuous as the influencers and establishment that I’m calling out in this article… and despite what some might think or say, I’m not THAT big of a hypocrite.
Something to consider…
The Republican Party’s messaging remains a disjointed mess, even as the MAGA movement holds strong as a vibrant force within its ranks. MAGA’s relevance stems from its ability to energize supporters with a bold, unapologetic vision of American identity and self-reliance, tapping into a deep desire for change and a return to perceived core values. Yet, the party itself flounders, unable to harness this momentum into a clear, unified narrative.
It swings wildly between traditional conservative staples like tax cuts and deregulation and MAGA’s louder, more populist drumbeat, but there’s no polish or consistency to tie it together. The GOP can’t settle on whether it’s the champion of the working class or the guardian of elite interests, and that muddle blunts its reach. Whether that’s on purpose or not is debatable.
MAGA keeps the faithful engaged with its raw enthusiasm, but the party’s failure to build a broader, cohesive message—evident in lackluster 2022 midterms and the dual disaster we just saw in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania—leaves it stuck rallying the base instead of expanding its tent. It’s a movement with real juice, but the GOP’s messaging fumble squanders its potential.
All of that to say if I were in any position of authority within the Republican party or felt led to focus more on GOTV (Get Out The Vote) efforts rather than election integrity, which I don’t and both are necessary by the way, I’d be putting money and muscle into a robust messaging campaign way before I’d ever put any resources into chasing a low propensity mail ballot. We simply can’t compete with the exorbitently funded propaganda machine that’s targeting them.
Oh and by the way, from where I’ve been sitting over the last 4 years, the election system is still rigged. No ballot chasing effort is going to outrun an algorithm that can flip the outcome of any race, at any given time, to 51/49 favoring the “chosen” candidate based on whose “white hat'“ or “black hat” was able to breach the system last. And the GOP can ignore the issues with machines as long as they want to. It’s not going to make it go away. And we aren’t going to win elections without addressing it.
You might ask this…
But Trump won all the swing states in 2024. Didn’t newly registered voters or low propensity voters turning out in droves, either in person or by mail, put him over the top?
Nope - if you want to dig into that more, click on Audit The Vote’s press release for an eye opening analysis of the Trump win and take a gander at the graphic below as a preview.
The bottom line…
No one said reclaiming the Republic was going to be easy. In fact, the enduring challenge embedded in Benjamin Franklin’s famed remark—“if you can keep it”—will echo through the ages, calling each generation to confront the struggles of their time. Right now it falls on us to rise to the occasion, to meet the battles thrust upon us with resolve, and to trust that our little ones are absorbing enough wisdom to seize the torch when their moment arrives, to carry forward the ceaseless endeavor, perpetuating the timeless struggle to safeguard the solemn pledge of our founders—their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.
If you live in Pennsylvania and you’ve made it the whole way through this article, I’d like to personally invite you to join me at one of these upcoming events next week. I’ll be traveling all four corners of the state to unify and empower the grassroots while we talk about a statewide battle plan to move the needle forward piece by piece and restore local control and transparency in our election process.
Click on the RSVP link below the graphic for specific details for each event. It’s FREE to attend, but donations are always appreciated so that we can continue to pour into the grassroots through events and resources like this.
