While Kevin McCarthy has not yet secured the gavel in the US House, the swamp in DC put on quite a show yesterday that will continue at noon today. I haven’t felt like getting out the popcorn in a while, but this showdown might be worth breaking out the Orville Redenbacher.

FYI - This is the first time since 1923 that the speaker vote went to more than one round of voting.
